0607-omp-0525Wildlife and landscape photographer Pasquale “Pat” Mingarelli enjoys spending time outside observing and photographing nature’s beauty. Pat also enjoys hiking, camping and other outdoor activities. Because of his Strong Christians faith he likes to bring along his Bible or his journal or just and think about God. As result many of his outdoor experiences became spiritual experiences. The Gospel of Luke 5:16 says that Jesus would “often slip away to the wilderness and pray (NASB).” Pat has learned to listen to the Father’s voice in nature by following Christ’s example and has a deep understanding of what the outdoors tells about God.

As result of his outdoor experiences Pat started speaking to Christians and churches on how creation reveals God to the three areas of our being—our heart, soul and mind. Not only does Pat offer are unique biblical look on the outdoors, but he incorporates his majestic landscape and stunning wildlife photography into ever talk. The Mind—When we hike, walk, camp or just spend time in nature and take a closer 0805-oma-04-01-srgblook we see some amazing things. How did these things get so amazing? Their complexity points to a designer. Creation Speaks to the mind looks at how the design of creation speaks to our intellect and tells us of a designer.

The Soul—Many Christians know what Genesis says about creation, but what does the rest of the Bible say? Creation Speaks to the soul looks at nature in the scriptures. What the Bible says about creation actually reveals a lot of what creation declares to us about God

The Heart—Why do so many people, both Christians and non Christians, enjoy being outside? What is about nature’s majesty, mystery and beauty that calls to us and why does it do so? Can we connect with God in nature? Creation Speaks to the Heart looks at why we enjoy spending time in the outdoors, and how we can further enjoy, appreciate and celebrate God’s handiwork. In the solitude and silence of nature, the beauty of God and the attributes of God speak to us. Nature calls us to worship Him.  God’s Creation speaking to our heart is the predominant aspect of The Creation Speaks message.

1410-rmp-04-01-srgb“Praise the Lord from the earth,

you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,

lightning and hail, snow and clouds,

stormy winds that do his bidding,

you mountains and all hills,

fruit trees and all cedars,

wild animals and all cattle,

small creatures and flying birds…

Let them praise the name of the Lord.” Psalm 7-10, 13 (NIV)
